Aodhan holds an entry in Redcar's £150,000 William Hill Two-Year-Old Trophy on Saturday 3 October (14:50, Listed, five and a half furlongs) — an entry, not yet a confirmed run. Adonius (form on At The Races) does not currently hold a British entry, with his autumn aimed at America. Declared runners are added here as soon as they're official.

America is the bigger picture for Adonius. After the Molecomb, Rebecca Menzies said the paperwork was already under way for Keeneland's $350,000 Indian Summer Stakes (Group 3) on 4 October — a 5½-furlong turf race for two-year-olds at the track that also stages the Breeders' Cup World Championships on 30–31 October, where the Juvenile Turf Sprint remains his connections' season-long dream. Nothing is confirmed until he is entered and declared, and we'll say so here either way.

What to expect on race day as an owner

If you've never been racing as an owner before, here's how the day works when one of our horses runs.

Before the race

When your horse is declared to run, we let every owner know the course, date and race as soon as it's confirmed — you'll always find the latest on this page too. Eligible shareholders receive owners' badges for the day (see what you get as an owner), which get you into the owners' and trainers' areas rather than the general enclosures.

At the course

Arrive in good time and you can watch your horse in the pre-parade ring being saddled, then join the group in the parade ring before the race — the moment most new owners say makes it all feel real. Trainer Rebecca Menzies or her team will talk you through the plan for the race and how the horse has been working at home.

The race itself

You'll watch from the owners' viewing areas with the rest of the syndicate — and if it goes well, there's no feeling in sport quite like walking into the winner's enclosure to greet your horse. If it doesn't, you'll hear honestly from the team how the race went and what comes next.

Aodhan's next target: Redcar's £150,000 Two-Year-Old Trophy

Aodhan held an entry at Thirsk on 14 September but wasn't declared, so his form still reads four runs with a career-best third at Musselburgh last time. His name remains in the Listed William Hill Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar on Saturday 3 October (14:50, five and a half furlongs) — the course where he made his debut in June. It's an ambitious entry rather than a confirmed run, and Rebecca Menzies will decide nearer the time; declarations are made two days before. Meanwhile Adonius, who went into the Roses Stakes officially rated 101 (up from 94 at Goodwood), has his autumn aimed at America. There's still time to own a share of Aodhan before he next runs.

Adonius runs another blinder for second in York's Roses Stakes

Back at Listed level on Ebor Saturday, Adonius did what he always does — bowled along in front over York's straight five furlongs and asked them all to come and get him. Champion jockey Oisin Murphy eventually did, producing 17-2 shot Sale Shark to collar our 2-1 favourite inside the final furlong and win by a length and a quarter. Second again, and beaten by good horses both times: no shame in that, and the yard came home happy with him.

Aodhan runs a career-best third at Musselburgh

Our Caturra gelding keeps heading the right way. Dropped in early in the National Racehorse Week Nursery over Musselburgh's five furlongs, he picked up over a furlong out under David Nolan to finish third — his best effort yet in four starts, and a nice step on from his fourth over the same course and distance in June. Shares in Aodhan are still available, so there's still time to be an owner for his next run.

Autumn 2026

Next stop America: Keeneland and the Breeders' Cup dream

The plan for Adonius has always pointed one way. Rebecca Menzies has said the paperwork is already under way for Keeneland's $350,000 Indian Summer Stakes (Group 3) on 4 October — five and a half furlongs on turf for two-year-olds — at the same Kentucky track that hosts the Breeders' Cup World Championships on 30–31 October. The Juvenile Turf Sprint there remains the season's dream. None of it is confirmed until he's entered and declared, but it is a remarkable place for a £32,000 yearling from County Durham to have got to.

Adonius goes down fighting for second in the Group 3 Molecomb

On his first start in Group company, Adonius took the field along and kicked a length clear entering the final furlong at Glorious Goodwood — before the favourite Pershaada wore him down inside the last 110 yards. A two-length second of eleven under Kaiya Fraser, a first defeat in four starts, and £23,650 in prize money. Proud of him — he ran a huge race on the big stage.

It's an early entry rather than a confirmed run, but it shows the faith the yard has in him as he progresses — and with shares still available, you could be an owner by the time he next steps on a track.

Adonius to go straight to the Molecomb at Goodwood

Trainer Rebecca Menzies has confirmed our unbeaten sprinter will skip other options and head straight to the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes on 29 July — with the Breeders' Cup the dream at the end of the year. "He's grown and filled out since his last run and we hope and believe there's still more improvement to come."
